It might be a waste of time. It might be a waste of money.

On the other hand, it might be worth investing a little bit of both just for the experience of it.

If all goes well and I find myself back in Japan come November, I’ll probably set aside a day for this little excursion out of central Tokyo.

Just for the experience of it.

  1. Aww… That’s an interesting adventure!

Just imagine: you arrive and see a beautiful, somewhat shy young girl at the station. After some hesitation, you start a conversation. The communication is not perfectly smooth due to the language barrier, but that is not a problem for a force that crosses all boundaries 😉 It turns out that you share many interests and learn about each other. You decide to share your phone and email as well. However, it is time to part… Another distance, another journey… How will it end?

Enjoy your trip and take plenty of wonderful photos like you always do 🙂

    • Now that would be something to look forward to . . .

The closest I’ve ever gotten to it is conceding to a request from a Japanese girl to snap a picture of her and her grandparents in front of the Imperial Palace, then asking her if she could do the same for me.
