Music from The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi

The film isn’t coming out for another couple of weeks, but here’s something to whet our appetite: previously-unpublished stills from Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu set to music from the film’s original soundtrack. A word of caution: the collection is surprisingly spoiler-heavy.

  1. Music is performed by the Eminence Symphony Orchestra. I’ve been looking for an orchestrated Haruhi rendition from Kousaki for awhile now and this looks to be it. Hope the music is up to snuff once the final version comes out.

    • Thanks for the information.

I’m sufficiently impressed with the music sample to consider ordering the CD. The part from 2:02-3:20 in particular makes me feel very nostalgic for the first Haruhi series – ah, the good old days.

  2. Very nice music and so many screenshots 🙂

    • Yeah – perhaps just a little too many screenshots for those who haven’t read the light novel. 😉 Really looking forward to the film now.
