A clue as to my present whereabouts, and a record of the incredible experience I had not more than a few hours ago: seeing and touching snow for the very first time in my life.
No wonder this is one of my favourite cities in the world.
Very nice indeed. And I happened to be in Shibuya at the time – really quite special, seeing that snow with all those bright lights around the scramble crossing, and the famous Hachiko statue cloaked in a thin layer of white.
I’ve been in Australia for three years and I haven’t even seen snow, what’s up with that, eh?
*Cough*
That being said, the old adage is appropriate: “Must be nice.”
